Black & Key make luxurious pieces of furniture for homes, boutique hotels, yachts and executive offices in three exclusive timber veneers, macassar, noir and sable. All designs are hand made to order and can be customised in size and veneer to suit all interiors.

The collectoin is a synthesis of bespoke designs created over many years by Karin Verzariu, Member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), for her clients. Many pieces are inspired by her admiration for the Art Deco period and Emil Ruhlmann's work; they are all classical and timeless designs which suit contemporary as well as traditional interiors. The cabinet and metal works are meticulously hand made in Britain by highly skilled craftsmen.

Unique elements of the range are the exclusive hand made door pulls in polished nickel. Some of the designs blend polished nickel or true mother of pearl inlays with ebonised timber. Handles can be interchanged on many items in the collection and so achieve a personalised finish for each client.

Black & Key's complete range includes furniture for sitting rooms, dining rooms, studies, bedrooms and executive offices. To complement the bedroom furniture the company also supplies high quality mattress and divan sets. The divans can be upholstered in a beautiful cream ticking material or in one of Black & Key's specially selected fabrics.

The Marilyn ottoman is available upholstered in soft wool, crisp linen or wonderful mohair silk. Alternatively, the client can specify and supply their own fabric. The Geneva desk is available with a veneered top or a leather inset in our stock colours midnight, claret and savannah, or customised to suit.

Black & Key also offer a selection of glass table lamps with silk lampshades. The lamps are individually hand blown by skilled craftsmen in England. The silvered Orb lamps are available in silver/latte, silver/black and silver/burgundy, while the sinuous Orion is made in cognac, black and burgundy.
